CCW 16-hour Course

This is a CA compliant, Initial 16-hour CCW course.  This is Part-1 which is on-line and self-paced.  Part-2 is in person at The Peacekeeper Specialized Training Institute. This also satisfies the training requirements for renewal of a CCW permit.

CA compliant meets requirements outlined in Penal Code Section 26165.

Meets requirements by most local agencies within Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.

Convenient for busy schedules or out of state residents.

There are many options to complete Part-2 of the "in-person" live training. From group to private one-on-one training and adding on the "Force Options simulator" training. 

Complete your training self-paced within 90-days of signing up for course.

Course taught by instructor with over 40 years of  experience in law enforcement, self-defense and firearms tactics.

Customized Options for Part-2

In Person Basic Group Training

Part-2 in group format is a class of 6-10 students. The cost is $125.00 per student. 


Tuition for Part-2 training is due on the day of in-person training at the facility.


If force options simulator training is added, the training may be conducted on a separate day from live-fire training for the group setting. 

In-Person Group Training with Force simulator

After completing Part-1 students can add the Force Options Simulator training for an additional $50. 


The simulator provides additional practice and judgement training.  Force Options Simulator training is located in Solvang.  Tuition is due at the facility. 

Private one-on-one

You may attend Part-2 in a private one-on-one training session. The Force Options Simulator training is included and done on the same day. 


The cost is  $200.  You may split the cost of a private with 1 other student and pay $100 each if you attend the course together.
